How to Make a Delicious Vegan Pancake

You will undoubtedly enjoy preparing this easy peasy vegan pancake receipt.

VEGAN PANCAKE

You have a wide-open space to go wild for your healthy diet with this recipe. You can try cranberries, blueberries, apple + cinnamon, nuts, chocolate, bananas etc. You can create a savoury version for lunch as well. You can also try it with lemon zest in the batter–when it’s done, vegan cream cheese and some maple syrup on top. Classy! Go agitated and restless.

WHAT TO DO

1) Add the vegan milk, apple cider vinegar, oil, sugar, and vanilla. Whisk until well combined.

2) Add the flour to the wet ingredients, then sprinkle the baking powder, salt, and cinnamon on top of the flour.
Mix gently until just combined with a spoon. The batter will be lumpy.
Stir the mixture until combined, then let the batter sit.

It will get bubbly. DON’T STIR IT AGAIN. Just scoop out your mixture onto the griddle.
Use a good amount of vegan butter on the griddle not to stick to the surface.

 

THE INGREDIENTS

  • 250 g soy or pea or oat milk
  • Two tablespoons of oil (preferably olive oil mixed w/ hazelnut oil or coconut oil)
  • Two tablespoons of sugar or maple syrup
  • One teaspoon vanilla
  • Zest of 1 orange or lemon
  • 195 g flour, | white, whole wheat pastry or white whole wheat
  • One full tablespoon of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • optional: 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tsp of apple cider vinegar to the milk

HOW TO DO

Stir the mixture until combined then let the batter sit for 5 min. Will get nice and frothy DON’T STIR IT AGAIN. Just scoop out your mixture onto the griddle. Use a good amount of vegan butter on the griddle not to stick to the surface.
